Never will a university administration choose as its mascot a whitened version of a non white animal as its mascot, in this day and age.

Turbine. I have experience running every damn bayou, slough, marsh, canal, lake, River and I can literally go on with 20 more types of waterways, oxbows whatever. The Albino Alligator is NOT in the waters of LOUISIANA to merit any consideration whatsoever as Rep'n Louisiana.
The one time and one time only ever I have seen one is down in Audubon Zoo at the Fly.
Louisiana Alligators are damn near black, far more black than some BS Florida green.

Some are taking this, way to seriously.
Did you ever see a Cajun Chicken with a cape in the Louisiana Outback?
Its a spirit lifting mood leader.
Ragin' Cajuns are the "rep" sport spirit leaders should never rep.
They are supposed to be goofy.
You want the real rep? Its on campus.
This, is a cartoon charicter.

You choose the dollar amount and let’s bet if a white gator named albineaux is ever our mascot.

I don't gamble and I amazed at how many are treating it like a wall street stock affirmation instead of how much fun it will be.

Here’s a shot of a Louisiana gator on the Teche.
Re: Albineaux: Name Image Likeness
The only reason why the gator is albino is because our colors are red and white if our colors were navy and gold a albino alligator wouldnt be our thing, and in the spirit of being different is another reason why the gator is albino.
Yall are way over thinking this, its like saying if the gator is red some how its racist because of Native Americans and there is no red gators.

One could argue cajuns/acadians should be considered Native Americans because we were here before 1776.
