Robert Lee
We had some long seasons under him

Get rid of this guy, he can’t coach up, and can’t recruit anymore, collecting a salary

Kentrell Garnett had a career afternoon for the Louisiana men's basketball team but it wasn't enough as the Cajuns fell to Louisiana Tech 69-58 on Sunday in the Cajundome.

Back to back games with career games for players and still can’t win against in state foes. Bad

While Marlin should be concentrating on building a well rounded team, it appears he is instead trying to establish another "go to" player.
Usually he identifies his "go to" player in the off season. Due to injury he is having to do it in-season.
Team play is the best way.

Anyone remember that 94-95 team? Yeah they didn’t win much, but the athleticism was off the charts. Kelvin Price, Chris Manuel, Barry Bowman, think maybe Reggie Poole and Bryan Collins.
They were young, but man those games were still fun to me.

He actually may not be wrong. I am not sure if its an NIL, recruiting issue or both, but the talent on this team is bad. When you lose your best players to McNeese & Arkansas State, then replace them with players from schools nobody has heard of, that tells me the basketball program has a serious NIL problem. While a new coach may be warranted, he will need the NIL situation to improve drastically.

What did Marlin mean in his press conference. He stated we'll get 2 guys back and add 2 to the team.

I think he means Evans will be back. And will add Hardy here soon.

People aren't going to give to NIL if they don't believe in the product. Over here, not enough people believe the product on the court so the gravy train is dry. It's the same reason why McNeese is running circles around us in basketball NIL. And yes, they have some people with money giving over there, but I will respond with this: If they didn't have Wade as their coach, would they give? I think we all know the answer to that.

The same is true of attendance. The dome is dead because people are fed up with the mediocrity. One dance appearance every 8 years or so isn't enough to garner support and compete for today's entertainment dollars. The proof is in the pudding.

Well said.
