You just have to know where to look.

Since those days, UL has been ranked higher than LSU in football. UL is R1. UL topped $200M in research funding. And, UL brings in the largest research contract in Louisiana university history. Athletic facilities none of us would have dared to dream of are here. The Sunbelt is the top non-P5 conference. And, Joe got married. All of these are absolutely amazing!
And, the best days are yet to come! Great things are happening for UL. We often get bogged down with day to day downers, but where we have come from and where we are going - wow, simply amazing. I am more fired up for our university today as I have ever been. Geaux Cajuns!
I got married??!
Life is really, really good.
At home, at UL, and in Acadiana. And DocRC, you are one of the reasons. Your work as Dean of Engineering boosted us in every way, and I think it created a domino effect on campus.
And now, you're pulling in major funding back in the lab.

When it comes to positive impact, Zap's efforts can't be overstated.

Please let us rent this spot!!!!!
Yeah I was there very early on. Pretty small group that grew out of the SportsOnly board that Cdeb ran. Life got pretty busy back then so I ended up only making it to tailgating occassionally. I remember when we asked to pay for the spot and they were totally perplexed as to how to handle the situation. No doubt that tailgating today at Cajunfield can trace its origins back to the group that originally gathered under the oak.

Team effort! So many people on this board are a part of UL’s success. When we pull together in a positive way, great things do happen. Those dudes in that picture all have played a part in our success.
Turbine has held our fans together in such a positive way. He is a key aspect of keeping our fan base engaged. Thanks for all you do!
Fun – your vision, excitement, and faith have been so critical for UL over the years. Keep it up. Our work ain’t done yet. Great universities are a constant work in progress.
BTW – the Plague is buried behind the old Mother’s Mantle.
