Why? Those were the rules they agreed to when they applied to move up. Yes, they are a really good team, but they knew going into last season and this season that they would not be bowl or conference eligible.Quote:

JMU applied for a waiver to shorten their transition, not a waiver for bowl eligibility. If there are not enough teams they can still apply for a waiver to fill in a bowl.
On a separate note it says g5 rep to NY6 is highest ranked conf. Champ. They cannot play in conf.title game because that is a postseason game but it doesn't say that conferences have to use title game to declare champion.
