Believe me when I tell people that we’re getting softer all the time. That’s probably a good thing too. There’s no way I’d have let my kids do what was common in my high school years.

They scrimmaged at 2:45 PM last Saturday afternoon. Not sure that was a safe thing to do considering the heat we are all dealing with. I would suggest 7 PM.

I’m not worried about it because they absolutely understand how important cooling and hydration are. This is a controlled environment. Yes, anything bad is possible but highly unlikely.

That’s the perfect time to do it. Play good at 2:45 in august, play great at 6pm in September, October, November, and December

Heat is the best factor when conditioning.
