You are correct, apples and oranges. I’m not posting any links but spend time and learn about UL’s admissions and all the other parts of student life and then App’s. It could be a rabbit hole in a hurry.

Going to App is akin to living on an island. One small example is they have over a dozen on campus meal sites. That alone creates a culture UL doesn’t have.

We all know who never purchases season tickets to any events. They complain all the time and are really just a part of the problem. Every season tickets sold help, we just need a bigger push to get folks excited.

Did they say how many? The link I saw didn't have numbers. They just say sold out, anyone could set an arbitrarily low number and claim sold out. Didn't Nebraska used to have entire.stadium sold out via season tickets, why limit?

I imagine Boone is like a west Texas high school football town. Every store window is yellow and black. Signs messaging about the game.

I feel like if UL’s campus was in say Crowley, the buzz around town would be constant and probably have better attendance.

Yes and also got two extra season tickets. I probably will not use the two extra but will definitely give them away.

The student population outnumbers the non student population in Boone, there is no comparison to here.

Not App’s. Spend time reading, UL is not set up like App. The west Texas town analogy is true in many ways. App is THE industry there, zero competition.

What are we asking for? 30k a home game. The Lafayette metro has just shy of 500k. We can’t get 6% of the area within 20 miles of Cajun Field to come to 6 games a year.
