We had a team that year. Before the shut down I think we had close to the #1 RPI. Understanding that it was March, but that team was winning. Like 5 top 10 wins, right? Summer and Kleist were the pitchers?

They were well on the way to a top 8. Certainly a season thar got away.

Oklahoma State not only started their best pitcher Kelly Maxwell, she is widely, regarded as the best pitcher in college softball right now and the Cajuns, scored two runs on her. Also on Friday night Texas started who they consider to be their ace, the transfer from Arizona State. She led the Longhorns in innings pitched and was 4-0 before Friday night.
