Not disagreeing with you.

I doubt that any knowledgeable even unobjective fan on this board thinks we will go 10-2 either. Anyone expecting 10-2 is just setting themselves up for failure.

All I'm saying is if the "average" fan 1 thinks we are going 9-3 with a loss to App, fan 2 thinks we are going 9-3 with a loss to stAte, fan 3 thinks we go 9-3 with a loss to Troy. Averaging out projected losses only, we are going to beat every Belt team, equating to 10-2. Then you could even extrapolate that out to the average fan thinking we'll go to 8-4 but with expected losses to 4 different Belt teams, with no one actually believing we'd go 10-2.

This team will close very well after some losses mid-season.

Liberty is a trap game.

Troy is a swing game.

Win those 2, and you've got a special year. Anything above 8 wins would be quite an accomplishment.

I think Ohio is where we find out what this team really is. Ohio should win the MAC, if we win this game then we are good enough to win every other game on the schedule.

Good point. What a tough road game. I wish we had the 2017 Tulsa game this year. We’d win that one with a sliver of defense.

I think we stumble a little bit out of the blocks and finish strong.

I also predict the Liberty game will look a lot like the coastal game last year. The game we all look back on as the one we should’ve won and just wet the bed.

Hard to lose that mentality when 90% of the opportunities to change the direction of the program we fail miserably. If we come out of the gate 3-1 this season could be special. We could also be 1-3.
