Game Time Thread UL vs UN

What i will fault the coaches for is coaching like cowards. A 3 yard designed roll out pass on 3rd and 8? Running out the clock at the end of the half? On creativity at all on the 1st 2 drives? How about the way we ended the game us LSU? It's clear we know our place. Next week we'll be creative. This week, we'll just try to survive. Bullcrap. I'm tired of acting like a mid-major when we take the field. Did i forget 4 runs up the middle for no gain at the 1? Our kids are overmatched but playing hard. Our coaches don't coach like we belong on the same field. The kids get the message. Looking forward to getting back into the kiddie pool next week. Bullcrap.

Oh, and just to add insult to injury, the "Sportacular" iPhone app changed our name from "Louisiana" to "Louisiana Lafayette." Not that I really care, but jeez...

We're just not that awesome of a football team. This isn't anything new. 2-2 going into a bye, and the two easiest sunbelt teams smells like 4-2 to me.

I know... But now it's 41-0 after letting NEB convert on 3rd and Texas twice... I just hope we can score some points, because I'm sensing some severe offensive identity issues for the Cajuns.

Definitely not a good night for us. We just need to gut this one out and be men about it. I'm not sure what you mean about identity issues. Nebraska is turning out to be, by far, the best team we'll face this year. I was pretty concerned about this game when I saw them play VT. VT is extremely physical and athletic... and Nebraska took them on head to head. The rankings this early in the season are not anywhere near close... just like Ole Miss doesn't belong in the top 20... Nebraska may end up in the top 15 or better by season's end.

How about we play the acc?

Maybe not the correct phrase, but what I mean by identity issue is we haven't scored a touchdown in the last 8 quarters. I understand we played/are playing 2 top tier teams, but to not be able to score, and to (seemingly) have no explosive offensive playmakers is alarming. Then Mcquire comes in and essentially runs the Jerry Babb offense, which worked great until we fumbled it. I have a feeling we will see many offensive styles this season. That may be the best strategy.

I've always felt like we should go with the best strategy that works to win the most games. We just got the ball on our 1 yard line. That gives us the opportunity to rack up 99 yards and a score. Excellent.
