From the Bird's Nest: If you're going to run a conference tournament...........

To return the favor why don't we Cajun fans start referring the Sun Belt Commissioner as "Wrong" Waters instead of his correct or "Wright" name!!

The name on my birth certificate isn't the name i go by in everyday life but when i ask people to call me by the name i prefer, most people abide, they also apologize if i correct them. Well, i don't think "Wrong" has issued any apologies lately??

As the ancient proverb says.....2 "Wrongs", (referring to us as (1)ULL or (2)Lafayette) doesn't make a "Wright"!!!

Softball - TRIPLE CHECK
Baseball - We'll know about this time next week
Basketball (W) - Hoax actually won this one

And with the exception of Football, which i think the series is even, we've pretty much owned them in all time series in Basketball, Softball and Baseball.

When my oldest daughter graduated from high school, the principal (who went to McNeese), when handing out the diplomas, told the crowd what each graduate planned to be doing in the future. At least half were going to UL, which he deemed "The University of Lafayette" the entire evening. By the time the affair ended, I was SEETHING! Now, some ten years later, my stomach still gets knotted up just thinking about that specific terminology. GO CAJUNS!!!

This sounds like WW is doing what the rest of our country and government is doing. Bowing down to the few that are offended by something regardless of the view of others or regardless of how many other people it ____es off.

That reminds me - I was thinking of using that quote from Beryl Shipley. He was referring to the Southland Conference, but it seems to apply here as well.

I was at the Championship game, I stayed after for the announcements.

The All-Tournament team was a joke. Myers got hosed!!!
