North Texas got another nice win last night splitting a double header with #16/11 Missouri (#5 in RPI), considering they took one game from us in the series we need them to continue to do well. Just like all the Sun Belt teams obviously. Also a sweep against FIU will be good as they have wins over Georgia Tech (twice) (#15 in RPI)
btw the Cajuns moved up 8 spots in the RPI (to #48) after sweeping Troy who is in the 90s, should continue to move up if we can sweep a mid 60s FIU team
They are not overrating SEC teams. There is no shame in being the second best conference in the country. The top SEC teams do win more games in the regular season than do the PAC 10 teams and they also do well in post season play. Don't you remember that there were as many SEC teams in the World Series as PAC 10 teams (3)? Just because a PAC 10 team wins the championship doesn't mean the SEC is overrated.Quote:
