Boone to Charlotte is a 2 hour, 102 mile drive. I wouldn't think that is a part of the Charlotte MDA.

All TV and news that is in Boone is from the Charlotte area. That is not the case with Lafayette and New Orleans.

There is very little between Charlotte Metro and Boone, very rural.
