A program doesn't have the say or can sign off with blessings. It's none of the program business who the player has an NIL deal with.

He will continue to have to build this way until he red-shirts enough freshmen athletes to build his depth.
What happened to all the players he let go at Colorado? Can any fill some needs at UL?

So are you saying a player has to get permission from the school they play for in order to get there NIL deal approved?

What happens if potential recruit gets NIL deal from a business that supports school X, but school X doesn't recruit or offer that player?

You would think there has to be some level of permissions. What if the NIL deal duties and times conflict with practice schedule. For example. In military if you have a part time job off duty the commanding officer needs to sign off on that

NIL by its very nature sounds public. The NIL recipient Is going out on some platform to advertise a business, how could that remain a secret?

Now that is a good question.
Seems like some sort of open book coordination would be necessary.

I expect school X has a list of players they would recruit IF they were in the portal; and said list is available for all businesses to see!
