Didn't USM have the day off because of the game? It's nice to see some schools have their priorities in order.

Considering how many days basketball is away from campus, I find this to be a false narrative concern.
How many consecutive days is golf gone?
With online classes being the norm now, the rush to rush back for the 2 days a year football is away on a week night?

Yeah, it's a pretty weak excuse. I mean, by the time they boarded team buses, I imagine it was at least 11 PM. Then if they flew back from Ellisville. That would have been close to midnight by the time they got to the airport & offloaded buses & boarded the plane. Then fly back to Lafayette puts them on the ground about 12:40. then board the buses & get back to the complex 1:15, or 1:30 as opposed to boarding buses at 2300 hours & sleeping for 4 hours until the buses arrive on campus @ 3 AM? Now, if they flew back from Gulfport that is even more asinine. As a matter of planning, I would much rather take a bus than a plane If I travel for 4 hours, or less, especially if there is onboarding & offboarding to do from buses.

My experience was totally different. Their fans were amazing, gracious, and courtious. Everything about the game day experience in that stadium was way better than ours. In regards to the bathroom, all that I noticed was that they actually play the radio broadcast of the game in there. Their radio broadcast is 10 times better than ours. They had tv's in the concession area to keep up with the game. Everyone in my group could not say enough about how much they enjoyed the experience other than the on field performance.

Did you two go to the same stadium for the same game?

I highly doubt any of their fans tried to start a fight with two little old ladies. They might have been hollering for their team & raising noise like that. But those are some of the nicest people anywhere, except on the football field.

Exactly one day out of the year won't help or hurt unless the prof wants to make it hurt.
