Didn't think of it like this but you may be correct. He's saying "THIS NEEDS to be done if you want the program to advance".

Wow. We spend a lot of time analyzing things.
I know what he meant. He's saying if he can't get this done in five years, he will have failed as an AD and won't be here.
Mags puts a lot on his shoulders. That's what good administrators do. And, he's a very good administrator.

That was my understanding of what he said as well.

Actually hosting in a dump probably more impressive than early ejection in a conference tournament.

How does it look to have a new place and not host anything, except the SBC tournament and get embarrassed in that?

Better than having a national broadcast team in to cover your regional and having to set up a "duck blind" in your stands so everyone in the country see's how behind the times you are in your facilities. JMO

I think it would be inappropriate to get rid of an AD for failing to plan, fundraise, start, and finish significant renovations to a stadium in 5 years time considering the numerous other factors.
Guess this is just my opinion, I don’t know.

But he was also a liar, embarrassing his president and head baseball coach.
Regional tv broadcasters pumping that non existent baseball park on national tv.
