Re: Coaches on the road this week!
Wins and losses appear not to be important to some folks on here. Apparently, if left up to them, if our Coaches would just wear red at all times, they could remain in good standing regardless of their performance and win/loss record. LOL!

Fail to understand the incessant bietching by the same two posters on this issue. Something bad related to BLACK must have happened to each of them in their respective childhoods. It's like a bad dream revisited every time a Cajun team or coach shows up somewhere in black.
Re: Coaches on the road this week!
Are you suggesting that we'd lose more if we wore red and white? Better warn OU, better warn UH, better warn KC Chiefs. Ware black because you're more likely to win, just ask the first quarter century of Saints teams.
Okay so can we agree that there's nothing wrong with red or white? Frankly I don’t care if Napier wares black, but our team should wear red and white or change school colors.

1. Black is not a color so there is nothing's there to harp about.
2. I'm pretty sure every single sports team for this university wears black at some point in time.
3. Black portrays a sense of confidence, strength and professionalism.
4. I would bet that many of the complainants should try black, they might like the way they look in black.
5. Once you go black, you never go back.

I always leave that one out because I would hate for a couple of RP posters to have a drop dead heart attach. I like all of our posters.

Turbine...please, no more "BLACK IS NOT A SCHOOL COLOR" post or thread topic, it's killing my buzz.

See that nice RED Louisiana. It has to be a red one.

If you are referring to me, I got plenty of black, I wear it on sundays.
But hey you may be right about that bad dream. Jerry Baldwin introduced black to our football uni and coaches attire and I don't want to go back there. If you like black as a cajun gear color you must love Jerry Baldwin. (Just adding 1+1 and getting 4 like many on here)
