The last time we had a good offense that didn't have a true dual threat QB was Jake. Hell that might be the only time since Brian Mitchell. I am not suggesting that a change should be made but you could see the difference a dual threat could be on the few plays tha JD kept it late in the game on Saturday.
Hud's offense will not work if the quarterback can't run, and run well. And with this offensive line, he better be able to create good plays out of bad with his feet. Whether it's because he is hurt or not, if Jennings can't run we will struggle on offense against non terrible teams. Is Davis THAT bad at decision making? He can sure run like we need.

Agree. I'd love to know what the coaches true thoughts on JD are. I have heard HUD rave about him his natural freshman year. He obviously did something to lose the coaches trust.

Never saw the video but if he looked as if he could actually run it he hasn't looked like it since he's been here. He has looked slow down right scared to get hit since he been here, unfortunately what he did against TAM won't help us now.

Ok so what's your point. We don't need him 2 yrs ago we need him now. We can argue till the cows come home if he was good 2 yrs ago or not. The bottom line is for huds offense to be successful we need QB who is a threat to run. AJ has not been that all year. This year he has looked very timid when he runs. Unless you can figure out a way for the runs from 2 yrs ago help us now "what difference at this point does it make".

I think the point is that the injury is slowing him down in regards to running the football.
