He has 2 first names... That's a plus
Please tell me he was hired because he was best qualified and wanted to come here and NOT because NWSU wanted to get rid of him....
He leaves as a DC, to become a position coach (granted, from a D1AA to D1 Mid-major), doesn't have to move far, and I don't see anything about NWSU's D lighting up the sky....
That is what the article states.
However, his bio sure looks like it is going the opposite direction.
I would just rather have up and coming diamonds in the rough....
But, unless there is anything overtly negative about him, I will sure give him the benefit of the doubt...
We have former college head coach and DC coming here to be a position coach. He was Louisiana coach of the year. His resume speaks for itself. You usually don't do something for 36 years if you aren't good at it...especially coaching.
Maybe our position coaches get paid more than NSU Coordinators?
That is what I am hoping.
He has gone from
HC (and coach of the year)
to DC
\DC
now positions coach
Just a bit nervous is all....
Also, it looks like all of his experience was d1aa. Maybe he wanted an opportunity in D1A.
