Some people don't understand the law of Diminishing Marginal Return. If you are lost in the desert with no food...the first thing you eat once you are out of the desert is going to give you satisfaction that you will never attain again. We cannot expect the same response each and every year when nothing changes or gets better. I'm choosing to stay home because of a new financial burden or as it is otherwise known my son. The money is better spent on Christmas presents and formula and diapers and medical copays (kids are always sick). I made that choice because 4 straight years of the same old thing gets tiring after a while and with the Saints in town making the prices go through the roof it's a no brainer. Also...absence makes the heart grow fonder. I fully expect to be in a bowl next year...and I would bet a good bit of money it will be in New Orleans again. If you think this is expensive, then why all the talk of wanting to get into the Big 12...get ready for $50 to $75 game tickets...reserve parking and tailgating spots will all go up, etc. If we want to play with the big boys we will have to PAY with the big boys...
I would think that a key question is would more people go to a different, non Saint, normal time bowl, same type of opponent Bowl".......I think NO is still a better draw for the Cajuns although the situation is far from ideal!!!
a bowl in dallas would have been much cheaper
Me and 5 others are going. I have been to all 4 and will continue to do so. I appreciate these bowl games. Don't want to go back to being a loser
