It wouldn't have mattered today. No protection at all from the O line. You're right, get Ben out of there before he's seriously injured.

Des has improved significantly from year 2 to year 3 but he needs to take another major step next year. In 3 of our losses this year (South, marshall, TCU) we came in looking totally unprepared

Since Field’s injury, the Cajuns have amassed 221 yards of offense; 137/Marshall, 84/TCU under 5 minutes in third quarter.

Dude. We won 10 games and our roster is half missing against a p4 school. I know today sucks but basement of CFB is a stretch.

He was on that path, but the three games you mention were worse than anything he coached in the last 3. This game is totally unacceptable, he has no answers and the team just looks uninterested. But, hey, let's extend him...
