I realize how my take comes across to others who have a paid education to protect..
I also know from experience what weightlifting temporarily did to my accuracy in events that required touch.
Main point is it is temporary and Zeon is back.

. . . so you dispute the indication that the big fan may be human . . . failure with respect to events that require touch sounds pretty human to me . . .

Very human and frail.

Utterly and completely incorrect.

Here is an interesting article on quarterbacks tinkering with arm strenth and loss of muscle memory.

I said "interesting" as in addendum, obviously not the same as two weeks of muscle rebuilding.
An off-season of bulking up however, is related to what I have discussed.

You cherry picked the muscle building part of the article and missed the lack of throwing reps due to the pandemic. So you conflated adding 15 lbs of muscle while not throwing during the pandemic with a kid doing maintenance workouts during an off week when he was definitely also throwing.
Additionally that’s an article, not a study. It’s that guy’s opinion. But was it the lifting? Or was it the lack of throwing? Or both? Or neither? Regardless, that example has zero similarity to this situation.
Stop making silly arguments

Look back at history, happens often.
How do you know he was doing weight workouts? Were you there?
