Re: Summer Bourbon/Scotch/whiskey thread
I had some WL Weller 90 last week, very smooth bourbon made in the distillery as Van Winkle

Weller's 90 (12 Year Old) is very smooth and one of the best bargains for your money. Try also the Weller's Antique, 107 proof and very smooth as well. I am not as much of fan as the Weller's Special Reserve, it has been a while since I have tried it, may have to try some this weekend.

I almost got some 107 but thought I may end up horizontal if I drank that

Where are you finding them this late in the year? I bought 7 bottles of each about 3 months ago but I have not been able to find it since.

I live in south MS and a store in Bay St Louis got a couple of cases in, she originally mispriced the 107 and sold a few bottles at right around wholesale price before she realized her mistake. Its interesting to see all of the brands that come out of that same brewery

Yes, I have not had anything bad coming out of the Buffalo Trace Distillery. The Heaven Hill Distillery has 108 different brands. Thanks for the info and enjoy.

At Spec's in Tomball, I picked up some Blanton's and my son for Christmas gave to me Cotton Hollow TN bourbon whiskey Batch 001. Hoping it is tasteful.

I don't know if that is accurate; but it does taste great! Still very smooth.
That is why I bought 7 bottles of each, to mix. I use the Antique 1.75 L with a 1 L 12 YO. Not quite 60/40 but close enough. I enjoy it very much.
