Since most of the members are in college, the DCI season is in the summer and finishes before most college sessions start. But as you know, college kids are indestructible and they are having the time of their lives.

yeah i wasnt sure the age limit but i knew it was really young for him to make it, he just turned 18, yeah their should be a good crowd, North Vermilion will have a lot going

You don't know the half of it!! Those kids started practicing back in February or March and start touring this week. They'll play anywhere from 3 to 5 shows per week and when they aren't playing, traveling, or sleeping (in sleeping bags, usually on a gym floor!), they're rehearsing for hours at a time in the aforementioned HEAT!!!

The field is awesome and will really dress up Cajun Field. Not to put a damper on this, but look at the upper endzone areas that will remain grass. They look horrible and always have. I don't know why we didn't put some kind of artificial turf over those areas to dress that up as well, because we have shown no evidence of our ability to adequately maintain them and it will certainly detract from the beauty of the new field turf.

Nothing wrong with the end field grass. Now that we want have to take care of the playing field they can put extra time on the grass. Mowing and care will take care of that.
Re: Real Time Swamp Floor Happenings
Just got back from the field. Took a few shot's, but not to much difference from the last shot's. I will post the next slide show when they are finish with the turf and putting up the goal post, logo's, numbers and hash marks. The shot's will be from today until that point.
