Karl Benson could clear this up pretty quick. He sounded like he thought stAte would be in that game, for sure.

I feel like I'm beating a dead horse here. But why, according to Benson, was Liberty still in play for ASU as of late Saturday/early Sunday if they had all but agreed to give it to Tech? The UL Fans who blasted LATUR for being greedy and skipping the I Bowl for hopes of a better bowl are the exact same people blasting UL for not holding out on NOLA for a shot at a better bowl.
I have not seen a single person say that UL should have held out on the NO Bowl; only that they should have listened to what the Indy was offering rather than rejecting them outright. That is certainly not the same thing.Quote:
