I think more regionals is the preferred model, also. Tros hit a granny in extra innings to win the tourney and get to the Houston Regional. We played very well in Houston. We finished with RPI of 40 in 2015, so an at large was not certain.
That's right, our conference tourney run was the, for lack of better word, fluke to get us in. I do remember being in Houston that regional weekend. The weather made it so that anyone could have won that regional.

Anyone can build up tony using this data just as easy as anyone can tear him down. All I can say is I'd prefer to have the consistency of Southern Miss at this point.
I'm wondering what percentage (if any) the conference they play in helps them with those appearances in post season.

Probably not. Minimum wins needed 41 and a solid RPI. Any time we get those we’re usually in.
