It was a joke. Tulane has bunch of Jews, Julane. I'm gonna go out on a limb and assume the term doesn't even apply to you.

Also, as far as a previous post I made, how can you be offended by this when you generalize all Ruston fans as dumb azz hillbillies, dog murderers, what else? Maybe refresh us all on other insults I'm leaving out.

Ok...maybe I overreacted....I just talked to a friend of mine who is a Tulane alumn, and is a Cuban-american. He laughed and said they call it that too. So apparently I was wrong, and I apologize.....but since we are mid-year i was due for an error.
But I still don't think it's a Jewish institution....or I don't know if it's even the largest one in the us.
It was funded by a Jew, and about a quarter of its enrollement are Jews, and it's a really big enterprise.....but how do you know it's the largest? Or Jewish?

That is just percentage of Jewish students. That in no way states that they are largest private Jewish institution in the US. It doesn't even make them the ninth largest. Just the ninth largest school with Jewish enrollment.
