No other school has the school letter in the geographical layout.
To do it twice is a bit redundant.

Exactly. None of those states are in the shape of their first letter.
Extremely unique opportunity to us, one and only Ragin Cajuns, one and only Louisiana, one and only brand whose borders mirrors our University's Letter. Louisiana is the L.

You might reevaluate on the movement part.
Tickers move from right to left.
Movement would always have flames (or tails) on the right side.
Think of a car moving across the screen in a ticker. Car nose close to the ground on the left, exhaust on the right.
