Re: LOUISIANA vs. KENTUCKY - SOFTBALL
I ventured over to a NCAA Softball forum (cant remember which one) and an Arizona poster stated that the unique batting technique that acoach Lotief teaches leaves the batters vulnerable to an outside curve ball.
Did the pitcher tonight for Kentucky have a different pitch than the girls have seen so far this season?
Is there any truth to this statement about the girls not being able to hit a pitch that moves away from them?
A few Cajun hitters have power "the other way" so I dont see why an outside curve ball should shut us down like that.
1 hit is not going to win any games in OKC.

Typical! Missed opportunities on national stage

I thought that we should have swung at a few first pitches as Hunley seemed to groove those to get the first strike. Disappointed in the outcome of the game but not the team.

That's the dang truth. I was hoping our bats would wake up and keep that goofy yuck yuck off the camera.

Emotionally drained after one game that wasn't even close. Not sure how I'll handle up to 11 Ragin' Cajuns games in the next 6 days. Of course, if we play that many games, I'll probably be in a lot better mood than I am tonight.
