LOUISIANA vs. South Alabama

We are not having a bad night defensively. This is our defense... due to a horrible coaching decision. Lack of assignment football, regardless of a secondary weakness, causes a deterioration defensively. We have compensated with our solid offense behind Terrance. Losing Terrance and not being able to both drive for scores that eat up clock... totally exposed this defensive scheme as a failure.

It was tough to put Haack in this role tonight. Our WRs are never open like everyone else's. Our WRs out athlete catches from TB. We are never, ever wide open. Someone on Hud's staff needs to teach route running.

We won those 8, some by an inch, with our athletes. I think they're in super shape and they're behind the greatest cheerleader we've ever had. We need to see better fundamental coaching. I keep seeing it on other programs we face. We only "out athlete" the SBC right now. I'm not impressed with the coaching this year. It is time our coaches eat some humble pie and start working out the muscle above their neck as hard as they work the rest.

30-0 at half. Jeeez. Why do our defensive backs play so far back?

This. Exactly why I don't like the idea of people on this board talking crap about anybody in this conference. Our defense is horrible our o-line is horrible, receivers can't get seperation. Thr vanilla defense has caught up with us. The only good thing 8 can see coming out of this season is that maybe the coaches can try to implement a scheme for the defense to get off the field on third downs. Can somebody explain to me why we still throw 2-3 yard passes.

But SlappyCajun said we can't start a local player over a TX kid without regard to talent.

So yeah the defense is sucking but it is not all on the defense
Offense has a pick six, two turnovers inside the 50 and failed fake punt
So that is 20 points right there because of offense
