Let’s not get confused, the story about Brent Pry coming here was, “ ROCK SOLID”, nothing like the silly speculation going on in Mississippi.

I know there are a lot of people here that think that, but we are supposed to think overly big. We are fans. But when a coach turns down life changing money to come back and coach a team, that is a very very good sign that the only true insider experts think the same thing.
I like your thinking.

No....the two posts are very similar. This Bert guy is just as strong in his claims, and uses very much the same language. According to him this is a done deal and 100% gonna happen.

Yup, going to run the table next year. And I’m probably one of the most conservative people on RP when it comes to predicting future outcomes.
Re: Brett McMurphy reporting that Napier turned down Moo State
MAT should go in the RP hall of fame if it's really him doing that.

Instead of preparing for a bowl game, he's on the MSU message board giving details on his situation?? Really??!
This is total speculation and just a random thought: what if a coach's agent had a hand in stirring things up on the internet? Have an intern or someone plant a bunch of seeds. To keep his client's name in the mix as a hot commodity.
Even if the coach has no interest in a particular job, it would seem like the more a coach's name gets mentioned, it creates a hype associated with that particular coach.

Team has potential to do that but I would never predict it. Every team has a couple of games when they are not at their best. We also go to App again and they are still loaded. Not saying it cannot happen because it is possible. Just pointing out it is very difficult and would never predict it.

I thought of that, but this Bert guy joined elite dawgs in 2013, and posted very little since then. Then all of a sudden....just seems like a stretch that that would be a coach’s agent/intern.
I'm thinking it's MAT too. The style of the posts are similar to his here, only using UL or Louisiana, etc. FWIW, they seem to be on to whoever it is, and are saluting him for the epic troll it was.
