PreGame 2011 New Orleans Bowl - Walking To New Orleans

We have had 12 rooms booked at the Marriott on Canal for about 5 weeks now. Tonight I heard a rumor that the team will also be staying at the Marriott! Hopefully that is correct and we got lucky!

No matter what, the deposit holders have to get first choice of seats (in the order of RCAF and season ticket holders) if the whole "deposit system" is legitimate. UL cannot make RCAF/season ticket holders/deposit buyers believe they are going to be contacted... and then start selling anyway to those that call UL first. I bet figuring out how to get this done is driving the ticket office nuts.

I am confident that Scott Farmer knows what he is doing and will handle everything according to what was laid out a few weeks ago. I have also not yet been contacted, but I am not the least bit worried that I will not get the tickets I am in line for.

I am hoping the same thing. I know MT stayed at the Marriott a couple years ago. Not sure if it was the Marriott on 555 Canal or the JW Marriott across the street.

I'm too fired up about how fun this is going to be to be worried. I do want the whole process to go well. The key is that all of us, even with a hiccup here and there, keep our eye on the prize... having a great time cheering our Cajuns in the New Orleans Bowl.

The tickets being sold today and for now until all the reserve tickets are assigned will only be for general admission. I talked to one of the guys handling the ticket sales. They will begin calling tomorrow until all pre-sale orders are filled.

That goes to show how much research these "experts" perform.

Also Stanley in the Quarter right on the Square has some awesome breakfasts, burgers. Poyboys, etc. It's so good my wife did not want meto spill the beans about it here because she is afraid we won't get a table now. The Eggs Stanley is outstanding!

I think you can fly to San Diego direct from the Ruston Air Port.

Dickie Brennan's is a must for you steak lovers! My wife and I will be eating there Sunday or Monday night...can't wait!
