Cajuns' JUCO signees having solid seasons

With junior college players, you hope they hit the ground running. Some have a bit of a learning curve, but I think Wells will have them where we need them to be sooner rather than later.

And, with at least four, and maybe more, JUCO pitchers, plus the HS signees we have, there's going to be serious competition just to make the team next year.

I believe our pitching staff next year will be what we are accustomed to.

I don't consider my self a negaholic. I have season tickets and donate to the diamond club. I was there before the super regional run and I'm here after. I've seen the highest high and the lowest low. What I've seen the last few seasons have been below what I have become accustomed to. That is all I'm saying in a nutshell. So we have great recruits coming in. Awesome. Can't wait to see them but I have heard that before. I'm glad changes were made... although I think it wouldn't have hurt to have made them a year or two earlier. I pay alot of money for a product and I have expectations. Its the same as when I go out to eat, go to a movie or anything. If my expectations aren't met, I'm disappointed.

I'm sure the athletic department prefers a disappointed fan who voices their displeasure, but keeps contributing rather than the disappointed fan who quietly stops buying season tickets and donating.

I think there are several people on this site that feel the same exact way as anhil8tor. Maybe we should ask TTMW when's the last time he's paid for a season ticket. It's natural for people to expect results when paying higher prices. I hope all these JUCO guys and the Texas Tech guy show up and make an immediate impact on this program. We've seen and heard this hype before. You can't blame people for being a bit gun shy at this point.

I think the "show me" attitude is fine.

My definition of a negaholic is one who won't even take a "wait and see" approach. We suck, we're going to continue to suck. That's a negaholic.

I don't blame anyone who is gun shy. I have a problem with those who refuse to hear anything positive and turn everything into "the sky is falling...." Or it has already fallen.

On paper doesn't translate until it translates. I get that. But I follow this stuff pretty closely and I'm telling you the talent level is rising with this recruiting class and I think it's only the beginning.

I'm a positive person by nature. I had minor cancer surgery two weeks ago. This is just baseball.

I love baseball. I love this program. I believe in our ability to get this thing right. And, I don't need to be a season ticket holder to have those beliefs.

Does he have to sit out? Doesn’t this kid have an injury he is recovering from

He does not have to sit. He was injured but is now healthy. And, we got him for free for next season. He goes on scholly after that.
