Not arguing this...just arguing the "breaking the law" statement..the school has not broken any law.

There are funds available. It's up to our administration to use creative ways of using them.
In regards to your comment about a gamble, any investment is considered a gamble. The key is to have the connicks to pull the trigger and follow through on your decision. The pros far outweigh the cons on this one.
My offer is still out there once I stop this paid gig I've been on. I don't consider it working for free. I consider it investing with no risk. I'm just looking for a commitment from UL to follow through on the Alden report.
Re: Alden Report Released by University of Louisiana Athletics
The last time was FoxSportsSW during the entire DH with Baylor...and the name of LOUISIANA and UL was identified as our preferred name..There you GEAUX

Why are we so worried about LOU anyway, you have colleges with the same acronym. USC (South Carolina, Soufhern California), ASU (Alabama State, Alcorn State), AU(American, Auburn). UA ( Arizone, Alabama) MSU ( Michigan St., Mississippi St.) etc. y'all get my point.
I actually prefer LOUIS that was my first choice
The sports tickers use a maximum of 4 characters, a minimum of 2. They would not use LOUIS.
Re: Alden Report Released by University of Louisiana Athletics
Same with Tech, it's LaTech which is six characters, it's not LTU, or Ark. St. All have 6 characters. What about Penn St.? It's not PSU, if some weird reason it does use only 2 to 4 letters then LA, and for others LOUIS.

I may need to define what I call a "ticker." On some networks , I see a ticker, which only gives scores, and on some I see a banner, which is larger and gives news as well as scores. On CBS, FOX, ESPN and other tv networks, I only see 4 characters on the ticker, and as many characters as they want to use on banners.
Re: Alden Report Released by University of Louisiana Athletics
Then turbines plan is perfect for that.
Re: Alden Report Released by University of Louisiana Athletics
where there is a will there is a way, they can find room for the hyphen if the regime tells them to

Speaking of names, it seems "L A Tech" is sticking. Ran into a milenial, when he said that I fell over laughing. Asked me why I was laughing and I said L A Tech. He said, "well that's their name, right?"
