Re: MBB NCAA Final: Louisiana 55, Tennessee 58
Assuming FAU wins their game, they bring a good offense against Tennessee. This will be the biggest test for the UT defense and require them to play better on offense as well.

They beat Duke worst than us.
It really points out how good Jordan Brown really is. He MANNED up to an OUTSTANDING defense

Our strategy got us plenty of shots to make. We just didn't make them. UT beat us Duke literally physically. We were a better matchup for them and they obviously didn't play their best offensively against us. They gifted us an opportunity. They had more turnovers in the first half against us than they did all game against Duke.

No. It was our best defensive game of the year though. It was a liability for us all year and the players took the challenge.

You are the reason Marin has been around way too long. This team should not only be in the tourney, but win a game once every 10 years. Quit being an apologist.

Just stop. Marlin held them back.

Marlin apologist, who the duck is Fairley Dickenson? We should be atleast that team in the past 20 years.
-
Re: MBB NCAA Final: Louisiana 55, Tennessee 58
Marty Fletcher or Jesse Evans would have killed with the teams Marlin had.

Zephyr you are the problem, not the solution. Quit justifying our ____ty coach.

Lol ok clown. I advocated as hard as anyone that he should have been gone after last year. Decision makers didn’t see it that way. After he was kept, he got another chance this year to earn the job. We aren’t firing a coach after winning a title.

It is kind of hard to get fired at UL in any sport regardless of records or championships.

Last coach let go I can recall was Lotief. Think Key left because of the jab requirement.
This is exactly what my concern is with football, especially given how other favorite sons have never (or rarely) been given ultimatums based on performance.

Yes sir. Hud is the perfect example. He had to lose control of his locker room, alienate the fanbase, get in NCAA trouble, put up poor results on field, and be canned by a different AD than the one that hired him. We ain’t firing a guy for winning a title. We weren’t cutting ties with Marlin if he lost the SBC title game. I buy tickets to support my team and to show the admin that there are still people that care about this program even though they don’t see it as worth investing in.

Ok. So my question to you is...Did you even watch the game? If not, then ____ off. If so, then we'll talk
