Also, as HM stated, there will be room for SRO (I think on the decks at the top of the metal bleachers especially.) And very rarely were we at capacity. Really just when hosting postseason or LSU
If you're just looking at numbers, we averaged more than the stadium capacity last year. I don't think there were many (if any) games that we actually had more than 3600 butts in the seats. The proposed 4500 will be good unless you have LSU or regionals being hosted. My thinking is the next capacity increase will happen in the next phase of renovation when they replace the first base bleachers by extending the new grandstand down the first base line, but I wouldn't expect that to be a large increase either. The next after that would be the third base line upgrade.

Looks like they are pouring concrete near the backstop of the field where the box seats were

Just to add to this, based on the last schedule posted here, they aren't supposed to start doing structural steel for the 3rd base platform until December 23. 1st base side will lag a few weeks behind, with a January 16 estimated start date
Re: Construction Cam is Up!!!!!!!!
More stuff happening tonight. To the left of the first construction cam
Re: Construction Cam is Up!!!!!!!!
Looks like they are not cutting down the tree between Reinhart and the stadium.

Same here. From all the final renderings the trees seemed to be kept.
Re: Construction Cam is Up!!!!!!!!
Looks like the MEP guys got busy today.
Re: Construction Cam is Up!!!!!!!!
The Tigue project has been blessed with good weather for a while now. Hopefully it will continue and allow for progress to be made as fast as possible.

The pipes that are all tied together would have to be DWV, right?

It's really pretty cool ... the big pipes actually have two pipes inside; one will be for intake; one will be for disposal ... I just hope they get them connected correctly.
I sure don't want to say my beer tastes like pea! :)

Pipes tied together across the top connect to a single pipe heading up. This is a vent for the bank of toilets along that wall. DWV = drainage waste and Vent.
Re: Construction Cam is Up!!!!!!!!
Passed by just after lunch and took some photos of new steel going up along the right field line and some from the hill by Cajun Field.
Re: Construction Cam is Up!!!!!!!!
They were getting in some practice as well.

Re: Construction Cam is Up!!!!!!!!
Electricians working this morning.
Re: Construction Cam is Up!!!!!!!!
I don't have any idea when the new Tigue will be complete or when the team will play the first game there. But it is apparent that Lemoine is doing all they can to to get it done ASAP!
Re: Construction Cam is Up!!!!!!!!
Well the completion date is the end of April. That's four+ months. So I will say sometime in May it may be completed. For the most part, it takes four month to build a 2500 sq/ft home with full crews. And this is a big home.......
