Qyen Griffen had the one handed catch and Daryl Surgent had the punt return for a TD.

Qwen switched to LB and had the pick six against stAte. Surgent had the 1 handed catch

Re: Louisiana Football Coaching Search
Pretty darn sure javone Lawson had the big 1 handed catch.
I found the game on YouTube if anyone wants to watch

Javon Lawson had a great catch as well.

I do wonder what pre-injury Broadway could have done with our current staff and player culture in place.

Re: Louisiana Football Coaching Search
Man I must be losing it. I thought Qyen had this crazy one handed catch coming out on a swing pass. Was that another RB?

Broadway wouldn’t have fit the culture. Was far from a great leader.

He had that "it factor" but you right. He did have a rebel attitude.

Maybe he was a good leader but saw through his head coaches BS. I remember people saying this at the time but his guys played for him.

I think he had a circus 1 handed catch in a game against Ohio or another Mac team in the pouring rain?

Re: Louisiana Football Coaching Search
I don’t see any talk about a coaching search here. Do we have a new coach and have moved on?

Nothing to talk about in regard to it, unless we all want to guess when an announcement will be made. I'll say Dr. Maggard will announce the new HC Dec. 7th along with who will be interim HC for the bowl game.

I agree. If we had a elite passer, we would see a just how much depth and talent we have at receiver and TE. LL is a very good dual threat QB, a winner. He not an elite passer.

Qyen made a one hander, maybe not in the Nola bowl but it was beautiful.

Well, once you put their names down, I may have to reconsider.

That’s the one I was recalling.

Broadway, and it’s not even close. The “benefit” from Levi’s elusiveness is a myth. A QB who ignores wide open running lanes to slowly go though every read until they run out of desperation, isn’t elusive. His current YPC…2.9. You’d bench a running back for that.
Broadway with this offensive line and running attack, I doubt a game would be close on our schedule. Maybe Texas.

Butler was great as a freshman. Then got injured in huds first camp. Hud never used butler as I thought he should have. Can’t put him in that group as far as hud years go. IMO.
