We certainly cant take credit for that (but if we could) it looks like running him down * has only made him better.

UL Monroe just doesn't give them the name they need. They have already surpassed LA Tech by being in the Sun Belt, now need a name that distinguishes them and separates them from UL and from the impression that they are a satellite of our university. That would also put them (North Louisiana) in great company with other schools with similar names, Southern Cal (SC), South Alabama (USA), Southern Miss (USM), Western Kentucky (WKU), Central Florida (UCF), and East Carolina (ECU). Just a thought. I hope people from UL Monroe read this forum. Of course, our benefit would be sole possession of the University of Louisiana name.
I've thought they should go for James Monroe University (of Louisiana). Right now, IMHO, they look like our side-kicks.

Well the Hell, 71? You don’t like my 6th grade play calling? You already calling for ouster to somebody else?
Re: Live Game Talk Final : Louisiana 37, ULM 23
I’ve listened to a bit of the ULM coach this year. A lot more leading up to and post game. Watched them play a decent bit too. Warhawks have themselves a guy. If they hang on to the RB, they will just get better. Losing 6 in a row after that crazy start is rough, but they surpassed any real expectation this year. Future looks better in Monroe.

Great regular season by the Cajuns. Major props to CMD. Always great to beat ULM and end their bowl hopes. Was very impressed by ULM RB Hardy, only a true freshman. Might be hard to keep him. ULM coach did a good job this year.
Let's hope the Championship game is at home.
GEAUX Louisiana Ragin Cajuns!!!

Where's the laugh emoji when you need it. Much better play caller than Nape.
