This is about right. But just for the record Hud didn't "call out" or say anything about the fans. In fact he said exactly what you'd want your head coach to say after a game like that. He's going to go into the locker room to try and get his team's mind off a horrible game and focused on a big bowl game. Nice job Hud.

I'll say it again. He didn't say a single thing about the fans.

Tell Hud to make sure he hold his rope, because tonight he dropped the soap and the Cajuns took it up theirs all night. He better remember those fans fund the RCAF.

I heard it differently, but I'll give Hud the benefit of the doubt. I love Hud, I'm behind him, and he's great for this program.

We're not LSU, and we're not going to turn on our (great) coach for 2 bad games.

But don't expect me to be positive exactly 3 minutes after a loss like that.

I heard it twice on the radio. He didn't mention the fans.

Take a deep breath, use enough narcotics/alcohol so you can sleep the rest of the weekend. Go to work Monday. By Tuesday you'll feel okay.

There's nothing wrong with this comment from an emotional coach that has worked hard all season to produce something special and came up a little short. He says all the time that we all have to keep pulling in the same direction. This is just a little frustration. Don't hold the man's feet to the fire.

Ok...I wont be "negative".....but I will be truthful. Since the Arkansas ST. game we have played progressively worse with each game...the question is why? Tonight was going to be very tough with a redshirt frosh quarterback. they threw the book at him defensively. Coach, get it right for the Bowl game. You will have 40,000 fans there holding the rope. We aren't going negative but believe it when I say that you are going to get criticized after the last 2 weeks. We did win a share of the Championship this season and we have climbed the ladder progressively each year. We have never won a Sun Belt title outright.....Win the Bowl game....Geaux Cajuns

I have faith in this Head Coach and staff...we have done things with Hud that we have never done before. Everyone is embarrassed with this performance and believe me when I say that the Coaches and players are more embarrassed then any of us. This will be our 3rd consecutive Bowl game in 3 years...In state only LSU has done this.....until this year. Heal up, rant if you have to and get to New Orleans.. As usual was trying to pump up the Cajun Nation.......please take this the right way!!!!!!!!

Hey Boomer,
Having experienced Hud-nation for 3 years, I choose to believe this. A motto I live by is "assume positive intent," and I'll give coach the benefit of the doubt on this one.

Most coaches ignore the fans. HUD has always recognized the importance of the fans in building this program.

Now let's go kick the ____ out of Tulane.

Huh??? I was in section S, section T was loaded with Cajun fans and there were numerous pockets of Cajun fans across the visitor side. Two groups of Jag fans near me both commented to us that it was the biggest visiting crowd they had ever seen.
