Re: Live Game Talk: Louisiana vs. Northwestern State
OL play was atrocious. QB play was poor. Too many dropped passes, some would’ve been tough catches because the pass sucked, but should’ve been caught.
Defense was lights out.

It would be even better to start playing that guy ZC now.
Re: Live Game Talk: Louisiana vs. Northwestern State
Defense dominated.
Offense averaged 6.1 ypc.
Dropped passes slowed the offense down.
Fumble in red zone kept NW in the game early.
Cajuns win

I agree.
One lineman with his timing off makes can make the entire line disfunction.

. . . there is a reason Ben is playing and ZC is not . . . might be something with the best chance to win . . .

Stopped counting after like 5 dropped passes.
Offense needs to step it up. I wondered why we didn’t just pound the rock, but if those balls are caught the offense is rolling. 14 of 32 for Ben is bad.
I don’t think the O line was that bad. They had their bad moments. Only gave up 2 sacks, but Wooldridge was under pressure a good bit.
That fumble in the red zone was certainly one you want back.
Defense was just good. NSU only had 8 first downs.
An improvement from last year was only 2 penalties. We were constantly shooting ourselves in the foot especially early last year. Like the early signs of fundamentals and discipline.
