Blue... I don't have the energy to write the litany of public statements and actions that came out of your admin over this past decade that clearly fall into the category of arrogance. It has nothing to do with "pride" in your team. Your fan base was rallied by condescending remarks made by your admin about other programs and conferences. "That" is arrogance. Pride is a very different asset.

It's not about me, it's the players, especially seniors. Feel bad for them. I still think branding an entire fan base as "arrogant" is a tad out of line..... So is the LSU fan base arrogant too or are they just "passionate?"

No, LaTech fans and administration have been 100 times more arrogant and condescending than LSU. Arrogant is really the perfect word.

I'm an extreme optimist. If i were a Techster, I would be thinking, "Hey, at least we don't have to play a team from the stinkin' Sun-Belt".

I was just reflecting on all the twists this thread has taken from the whole 2008 Indy debacle through Tech claiming they ended up in this corner because of their WAC membership. That led me to think that the ultimate karmic twist would be for CUSA to send LaTech to the 2013 N.O. Bowl to face the Sunbelt Champion UL Ragin Cajuns .

man this really sucks for the players, especially seniors who put the time and hard work into that program
