Kitenge
Evans
El Moutaouakkil
Ratliff
Those are guys that are a solid start to a roster for the new coach. And 3 of the 4 are front court players. If White is the hire, and his resume with guards, I think those guys would good to have.
I hope we can hang on to all of them.

Re: Predictions on New Coach
It would be nice for White to bring a national championship with him when he comes.

We can't cheapen this hire. Pay what it takes and restore UL basketball to prominence. Greater support and attendance will pay for the salary. Invest in the future.

When will the new coach be hired? Bad part is, if it is Houston's assistant coach, we will have to wait for a while because they will make a deep run into the NCAA.

I don’t think there is a single guy on the roster that should be back

Duke assistant Jai Lucas already took over as Miami coach. Things are different in the portal age and head coaches realize that.

Florida State’s new guy is a Golden State assistant. Interesting approach, and probably a smart now that HCs have to placate “me” guys with money.

Re: Predictions on New Coach
In White’s case, if I were a betting man, Louisiana isn’t the only one courting him. Leverage the best deal, kinda like the art of the deal.

We'll find a way to USL it.

Oh yea. His prediction of Brent Pry being the next Louisiana football coach was “100% Rock Solid”….until it wasn’t.

Can we get Mercy Miller as a transfer in the deal also? He has Louisiana roots as well. Maybe can get some free halftime performances that would draw a crowd. ;)

Master P is now involved in UNO basketball as the president of operations. Wouldn't be surprised to see Mercy go there with his dad
