Ask the team what they think.

Heck, towards the end of games before his departure, he’d quit if he wasn’t options 1.
Besides, the only reason he came back the transfer rule at the time was he would have been sitting out a year since it was a second transfer.
CBM should have not taken him back, he was a player that was only here because he had no other options.

He ran himself off. He quit because he didn’t get his way. He went and told Marlin some BS that the “team” wanted which was totally untrue. He refused to participate in shoot arounds and practice after getting benched because of “mental health”. Ultimately he wanted to go to Pensacola. Team voted no. So take from that what you will.

Go with what Million$Mullet said.
Re: MBB Final: Louisiana 59, Southern Miss 67
Marlin never recruited a player he already had.
He ran off mamy players before the portal, no reason to think he changed.
"Never stop recruiting"

Themus is having a great year at Milwaukee. Maybe that is because he matured.

Normally, I would say this had validity. However, they are playing 10 players almost every game. That makes me wonder about the conditioning. With so many guys playing, they should not have fatigue issues. Perhaps they have to give so much effort for 35 minutes just to stay in games due to lack of firepower that they don't have much left in last few minutes of the contest. Personally, I think it is mental. They tend to press at crunch time due to the pressure they impose on themselves.

He’s happy in Milwaukee, leads the team in points, assists and steals. And he’s still playing for 3 or 4 games in March to make the tournament. Might be playing in a different pasture, but it’s the same grass. Only one way to the dance.
