Wave QB very careless with the ball on that one. Sometimes you just need to take the sack.

Tulane just got screwed on an offensive PI on Dante Fleming

Tulane is going to be tough. Cajuns have to show us something today.

Good job Wildcats. Didn't need them coming to the Swamp all hyped. De-moralized, perfect.

Re: Games of interest: week 2
Tulane goes to Norman next week while we get a week off. Hopefully they come here demoralized and banged up

You want them coming here on the heels of an emotional win over Oklahoma. Perfect setup for a letdown game.

Re: Games of interest: week 2
Tulane pulling it off against No. 17 would bring twice or maybe 3 or 4 times more fans from uptown to CF but demoralized is a 1000x better than visitor attendance.
This loss puts 'em in check. Just what we needed.

Those liberal butterflies can stay uptown, we can fill the place just fine.

Agreed. They need to show up here in front of 25k Cajuns. Coming off of 2 losses and licking wounds from OU.

Wow. Why people wanted them to lose is beyond me. You want them undefeated and ranked coming off two big wins against k state and Oklahoma. I would say I don’t understand the way some people think but this is RP after all

WOW. Not beyond me. No I don't want them coming to Cajun Field undefeated. That makes no since whatsoever. I have no idea why you would think that would be good. Anyhow this is RP some just don't know

2024: I can't imagine someone wanting Oklahoma softball to lose a game before Louisiana broke their 72 game win streak.
1996: I can't imagine someone wanting a ranked Texas A&M to lose the week before Louisiana sent their season into a tailspin.
While I do think Louisiana helped subsequent foes of those teams, It's more fun to be a fan of the team who cracked the winning streak.

Well you’re one of the special ones here. Why wouldn’t you want to knock a top 25 in state team off their high horse? Too many hits to the head

History.
I could give a damn about how "glorified" the win is. I want the F'N W. No matter what it takes. Win.
As for hits to the head, you got no idea bro

Txst no problem moving the ball on UTSA.

How many Top 25s have we taken down in the swamp?
That be why

Never shy away from opportunity.
Before this year, how many 72 game win streaks had Louisiana broken.
The answer to your question sits in the small number of opportunities Louisiana has had.
Which is why I would do 4-for-1 series if it raised the number of opportunities.

Re: Games of interest: week 2
A ranked confident Tulane team is scarier than a 1-2 Tulane team. I’ll take the butt hurt Tulane.
Also, I’m not pulling for any state school to get national recognition other than my Cajuns.

Playing a ranked team at home every week should be the goal.
