LOL!!! Honestly a good decision. Final score would've been like 100-0 lol

Re: Games of interest: Week 1
ULM scored late to make 13 point spread. Hoax ran two plays with backup QB, who ran the play clock down very well. JSU then calls a TO; Hoax respond with a pass to the end zone. ULM to their credit were trying to run the game out, was about 2-3 minutes left. Want to call a TO, well it was on.
Being a Cajun fan, I enjoyed the irony…memories of Broadway and the blitz.

I wonder where the school was located? On the lake or on the canal? Maybe down toward Bayou Tigre?

Maybe...but I sure do like our bye week before Tulane comes to town. I want a Tulane win more than a WF win. JMO.

Sounds like we got our excuses made.
We better get ready for Tulane.

This is most definitely true. A Tulane win would be massive, especially for in state perception.

Tulane is better than WF, but the Tulane game is probably more winnable because of circumstances/excuses/ factors whatever you want to call it.
We play at home after a bye week against Tulane
We play WF at their place after their bye week.
We could still lose to Tulane and beat WF Or beat both or lose to both.

Root for a Tulane win there and a massive letdown against UL

…after the QB Club meeting and the emphasis placed on communication….that bye will be very important!

Re: Games of interest: Week 1
I now see why Michigan State wanted no part of Louisiana.

Re: Games of interest: Week 1
Minnesota is in the clubhouse with the early lead this season for scr3wing the pooch, setting off victory fireworks at the same time they missed the winning FG.
