We will get a really good idea in the Astros Foundation College Classic of where this team stands. 1-2 with three close games is a good sign. Any better results is OUTSTANDING. Any less will depend on how the team looks in those games.

There is no doubt that it will be a great experience for the team and prepare them for conference and hopefully post season environment.

A couple wins could put us on the map early. I really like the offense with .522 slug. Deggs kinda undersold the hitting preseason, I am guessing purposely. Our team ERA of 2.50 is nice too.

Trey Lafleur has been impressive in the first 4 games. Good for that young man who has battled injuries. He is known as an outstanding teammate and you like to see guys like that have success on the field.
