Let's remember that coaches have not been eligible for very long. There has been one coach named to the HOF each year since 2018.
Yvette was the first. Beryl Shipley, Charles Lancon, Tony Robichaux, Russ Faulkinberry.
I agree about Coach Paschal, but I wouldn't have put him in ahead of any of those mentioned above.
Hall of fame can be meteoric like Gale Sayers achieved.

There was a nomination process on social media. I don’t know how official it was. However some of us basketball oriented folks pushed hard for Coach Paschal. The website lists many of his accomplishments. However it list some but not all of the major programs the Cajuns defeated in his career.

He should do a thread some day about what he likes best or worst and comparing and contrasting calling all the different sports. If he prefers working alone or with partners and does that differ by sports. And maybe some behind the scenes lay of the land of the radio biz, for example why did so many y old rockers move in to talk radio and which did they prefer?
