I think he paints himself into a corner…often.

He makes a good point, or provides good analysis, but then “ends” his point with “so” or “meaning” or whatever. And then he’s stuck having to keep going.

Hopefully he’s getting constructive criticism from somewhere. His knowledge and insight are good, he just needs to learn how to make his point and wrap it up.

I commented to someone at the game they kinda looked high schoolish on defense. I think they only 13 errors in 12 games prior, according to my fresh stat sheet I picked up.

I’m interested to see our lineup through each game this weekend. Deggs is tinkering a lot to give a lot of guys live action. I expect we will see Amedee, Yuhasz, Zambo back in. I’d also like to see Taylor get some ABs. We really need Max to have more productive ABs. Debo is legitimately the most entertaining player on the field. He is worth the price of admission alone.

There were lots of comparisons to BT when he signed here. He has lived up to the hype so far and might even be little better.

I think so too. Most of the lineup is physically imposing. Debo looks to have added some bulk for sure.

Taylor has something like a .571 obp. He needs to play every day.

One of the talking points coming into the season was depth. This team has it and there will be some guys on the bench at times who would be an everyday starter elsewhere. It’s gonna be hard for the staff to put together lineups every day. It’s a good problem to have.

This is true. And I was impressed with lejeune yesterday. Still no hits, laid down a successful squeeze and took a walk last night. Would be very easy to play for himself and he’s still playing for the team.

Id hope he is getting closer to a set lineup and rolling with it unless someone goes 0-20. Right wrong or indifferent…it drives me nuts seeing someone inserted in a lineup bc they went hitless the night before.

We have some kinks to work out. we still have to get better in some areas but we getting there surely
