We saw a pre-season all-American, projected late 1st round pick in their starter. Dude SAT 95-96 all game long. Change up was devastating.

Then, we saw Cummings, a guy that just pitched in the Cape this summer and had an ERA of 0.52 in 17 innings against some of America's best amateur hitters.

We were lucky to be in the game before the two errors on one play cost us two more. I was pleasantly surprised with our pitching staff tonight. Battle and hung in when Campbell applied the screws. That offense is scary.

Yep. Kueler was as advertised. And Cummings is filthy too. Kid sat down 12 straight against ECU last week.

Hopefully the rest of the staff isn’t on that level.

Daquila (Sat starter) throws 4 plus pitches including a big ass curve with plenty of depth to it. Nightmare fuel.

Their starter Kuehler was mid 90s up to 96, with very good change and slider. He came into the game with 16 Ks in 10 IP. He is very, very good, as others have said.

He also walked 8 in those 10 innings. We drew 1 in 6 innings. Poor approach from our guys to say the least.

Still two more chances against a quality team.

No doubt he is a dude. Prob as good as we will see until we play southern miss. But we gotta get out of swing mode sometimes and manufacture some walks. Or whatever happen to our short game and bunting with runners on base to create havoc? Against an arm like that idk if you can just sit and hit. Obviously you cant…we were not very successful

Im not new to the program and im very aware of the talent we have had on the bump. But the last legit Friday night arm we have had was recruited by a guy name Robicheaux. Not Deggs.

He threw 38 bb and 111 k in 2022. I am guessing Kuehler may have underperformed his 1st two starts. He is projected a very high draft pick. He has legit swing and miss stuff.

Kuehler may be the best pitcher we will see this season. However, that doesn't mean another pitcher will not jump up and pitch better. Baseball is the long game, this is not football, where every game is a must-win.

Casual baseball fan here. Just saw we are 6-4 losing to mcneese and about to be swept at home. Thought this team was supposed to be decent

When asked about the lineup changes he said some of it was internal and between him and the players. Also said all the young guys are good enough to compete. I took that as … im gonna send them a message. Nothing physical. But he never spoke specifically about Debarge

Not to get technical but they were eliminated by Ga Tech in the Tennessee regional last year if I am not mistaken. Didn’t make it to the finals of the region.

I didn’t hear pregame but I did hear postgame. Deggs said something had happened Sunday morning and said something along the lines of “if you have two eyes you could see what it was”.

He used the term “hiccup”
