I'm still living in the 13-1 calander year, it has to be part of any valid equation.
Recall sometime after Dr. Maggard arrived on the scene being quoted football needed to be fixed first. I interpreted that as football funding, coaching, winning, the stadium. While COVID set things back, especially budgets, progress was made. Now if Coach Marlin is permitted another season, then mediocrity is being rewarded to continue in a major sports program. That will be telling.
I smell bulldog poo poo here.
With season ticket sales presumably down the last couple of years and, if Marlin stays another year, I'd assume for a second that sales will be down a bit again, I wonder if the athletic department will run some sort of specials on season ticket bundles or anything like that? Might actually be a good year to buy them again if pricing went down.
It's amazing that you have a few good football seasons and get public notoriety and everybody else can't see through the charade that is going on at UL. Basketball has done nothing in 12 years they went to the NIT once and the NCAA once, baseball has fallen apart, softball is starting to unravel. Just wake up and see what's around you, all of you guys that think football cures everything is sorely mistaken.
Football is next. Are you going to tell me Desormeaux was the best choice to lead the football program?? And those of you that live in the past and can't see what is currently going on around UL is in for a big awakening.
I have donated many thousands of dollars over the years in hopes I would be helping to make a difference, but what I have done is to help enable my university to stay in mediocrity. I'm no longer interested in mediocrity! Neither should any of you!!??
You are the perfect idiot that keeps buying what UL is selling.
