You're missing Wilson. No way he's not in the rotation somewhere.

Agreed. Too many unknowns to make assumptions.

You are missing many important pieces. Tirus Smith will get significant minutes as well. Johnson will start and be the best player on the floor. PJ will not start. Put Mylik Wilson as the starting PG or Trajan.

The only time you need to make an assumption is when there is an unknown. If it is a known, There are no assumptions.

You don't NEED to make an assumption when there is an unknown. Or at least you shouldn't which is the point.

Well nice 10 players that can contribute. All about chemistry.

The only time you make an assumption is to complete an analysis with unknowns.
You need to change your name to something that has "confused" in it.

Vic, I must say you are a prime example of why it is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak up and remove all doubt.

Thanks for the support. I’ll write it down.

I think everyone is assuming it’s one of the 2 who aren’t mentioned in this 10 man rotation but anything could happen, somebody could do the same thing as Miller. As of now though it looks like there would be enough depth for maybe both Spenkuch and Lowery to redshirt.
Encouraged indeed. We seemingly improved the wing and front court where we needed it the most. Hopefully we find some rebounders in this group which was our biggest deficiency last year. I don't remember the last time we were a negative net rebounding team. Hopefully Russell bounces back and plays like he did down the stretch of this past season and Julien and Wilson are as good as advertised.

Any word on Marquetti’s redshirt appeal?

The only starters I feel confident in projecting are Jalen Johnson, Kobe Julien, and Cedric Russell. People who went to practice thought Johnson and Julien were the second and third best players on the squad last season. Meanwhile, Russell showed signs of being the player we projected him to be at the end of last year as he became more healthy following offseason foot surgery. After that I have no confidence in projecting anyone into the lineup. Keep in mind we signed 3 JUCO guys. Those are not normally guys you plan on developing and they will all be given an opportunity for significant rotation minutes. The fact that 2 of them played for Brock Morris last season and he is familiar with our system will hopefully ease the transition.

Marquetti told my son he was definitely done and not playing next year. So his thank you and “good bye” remarks were spot on....will always wonder but never know how much better he may have been for the balance of time he was unable to play. Wishing him the best!
